This product is a cation exchange resin with a sulphonic acid group (-SO3H) on a styrene-diethylene copolymer cross-linked at 7%.It is mainly used for hard water softening and pure water preparation, but also in the wet metallurgy,sugar,pharmaceutical and monosodium glutamate industries, and as a catalyst and dehydrating agent.The resin range contains three types, 001 x 7 is universal: 001 x 7FC for bunk beds, double chamber beds, floating bed systems: 001 x 7MB for mixed bed systems.
